Large facilities research
The large facilities group has several main areas of interest: Small angle neutron scattering (SANS), Muon spin rotation (MUSR), and X-Ray research. The large facilities group is in collaboration with the materials programme at the University of Birmingham, who provide high purity and single crystal samples essential for leading-edge research.
