We have several main areas of experimental expertise: Small angle neutron scattering (SANS), Muon spin rotation (MUSR), X-Ray research, and spin resonance techniques, such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and electron spin resonance (ESR). We operate a 17 T horizontal field cryomagnet optimised for scattering experiments, funded by EPSRC. This magnet can be accessed through the proposal mechanisms at various neutron and X-ray facilities across Europe.
